Twiglets is a fun, friendly and informal group for pre school children age 1-5 yrs and their parent or carer.
Sessions running from:
- Wildways (near Tideford), first Tuesday of the month term time 10-12pm
- Tamar Trails (near Gunislake) every Thursday term time 10-12pm.
There is heaps of opportunity for free play which is inspired by our beautiful woodland environment but is also supported by various play stations such as the mud kitchen, wheels barrows, Wild Animal Rescue Tipi, hammocks and swings, dens, music corner, play box, and story corner, crafts, trails and lots more.
There is always a woodland craft, natural weaving, hobby horses, teasel hedgehogs, natural play dough, wands, mini fairy dens, bird feeders…the list goes on! In addition to these fun outdoor activities at Wildways we provide an introduction to bush craft skills, mini fires and using tools. We cook together on the campfire and finish with circle time when we sing and maybe tell a story.
Twiglets is the perfect place to enjoy quality time together in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment, where you can be confident that your child will be developing holistically. This is great for increasing their confidence, refining fine and gross motor skills, growing physically stronger and most of all having fun in a natural environment with family members, friends and like minded others.
